(WBRE/WYOU) — A cold front Monday night will bring with it wind, heavy rain and a chance for thunderstorms.
A strong cold front will move across the region Monday night. You can expect scattered showers with the chance of a thunderstorm. Any thunderstorm has the potential to be strong with gusty winds, hail, and downpours. The best chance of rain will be prior to midnight. Then, the rest of the night will be mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler. Low temperatures will be in the 30s.
High pressure will build into the Great Lakes and northeast on Tuesday. It will allow for plenty of sunshine, cooler temperatures and gusty winds. Highs will be a few degrees either side of 50.

As we head into Wednesday, that area of high pressure will lose its grip on our weather and let another storm system approach the region. Wednesday morning will be dry, but a warm front will bring clouds and a few late-day showers. Highs on Wednesday will be in the lower 50s.
This warm front will move north Wednesday night and Thursday morning, which will keep it mild, if not warm. Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 60s and lower 60s. However, the cold front will approach with scattered showers Thursday morning and afternoon.
Several waves of rain showers will move across the area from Thursday night through the weekend. At this point, we expect one round of showers Thursday night and Friday morning.
Then, another round of rain on Saturday. That should be followed by morning showers on Sunday. Highs on Friday will be in the lower and middle 60s. Then, it will be cooler on Saturday with afternoon temperatures in the lower and middle 50s. Sunday will be in the middle and upper 50s.
