TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A firefighter was brought to the hospital after a fire in Wyoming County Monday afternoon.
Triton Hose Company Assistant Fire Chief Chris Ritz says at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, they were called to Bunker Hill Road in Tunkhannock for the reported fire.

Assistant Chief Ritz says no one inside the home was injured and that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The condition of that firefighter is not known, but Assistant Chief Ritz says it was most likely done as a precautionary measure.
