Lane restrictions and closures all week on Route 315

LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — PennDOT announced there will be lane restrictions and road closures on Route 315 in Luzerne County all week.

On Tuesday, April 1 the following roads will be impacted:

The right lane on Route 315 northbound will be closed between 84 Lumber and the Oak Street intersection.

The left turn lane from SR 315 North to Oak Street will be closed.

Exit 175 on Interstate 81 northbound will be closed, the detour is

Continue on Interstate 81 northbound to Exit 178.

Take Exit 178.

The detour will end at the roundabout.

Detour for the left turn lane to Oak Street:

Continue on SR 315 North for 2.5 miles to the airport roundabout.

At the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto SR 315 South.

Continue on SR 315 South for 2.5 miles.

The detour will end at the intersection of SR 315 South and Oak Street.

On Wednesday, April 2 the right land of Route 315 northbound will be closed between the Oak Street intersection and the on-ramp to Interstate 81 northbound.

Rain, thunderstorms expected in NEPA

On Thursday, April 3 the right lane of Route 315 southbound will be closed from the Pilot Travel Center to the Oak Street intersection.

On Friday, April 4 the following roads will be impacted:

Exit 175A on Interstate 81 southbound will be closed

The detour is

Continue on Interstate 81 southbound for 5.3 miles

Take Exit 170B to merge onto PA Route 309 towards Wilkes-Barre

Continue on PA Route 309 for .8 miles

Take Exit 1 for PA Route 315

The detour will end at the intersection of PA Route 315

The right lane on Route 315 southbound will be closed from Knights Inn and 84 Lumber.

PennDOT says all work is weather dependent and subject to change.
