SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man who is a resident at a nursing and rehabilitation center has been arrested for selling meth to another resident.
According to the Orwigsburg Borough Police Department, officers were called to the Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a staff member found a straw and a white substance inside a bag under the mattress of a resident.
The resident originally denied knowing what the substance was or how he got it, however, he later admitted that another resident, 70-year-old Joseph E. Hunt Sr., sold him the drug for $10, as stated in the affidavit.

Police said they questioned Hunt about the drug, and after denying knowledge of it, he admitted to selling the drugs to the resident.
Hunt's room was searched, and inside his wallet was a clear plastic baggie with a white substance that he claimed he forgot was in there, according to court documents.
Investigators noted that the white substance tested positive for methamphetamine.
Hunt faces charges of manufacture, delivery of, and possession for intent to deliver, and other related offenses.
