SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities say firefighters battled a structure fire that broke out in Lackawanna County Saturday evening.
Officials told 28/22 News the Scranton Fire Department, along with the Scranton Police Department, were called to the 1400 block of Pine Street shortly before 7:15 p.m. for a reported structure fire.

Crews were still on scene after 8:00 p.m. with a bulk of the fire knocked down, officials said.
Authorities say there are no reported injuries at this time.
The 1400 block of Pine Street had been shut down to allow crews to work on the fire, along with the 700 block of Prescott Avenue and the 700 block of North Irving Avenue, according to officials.
Authorities say the Red Cross is helping those impacted by the fire.
