Partygoers enjoyed fairies, fun at 3rd Annual Masquerade Ball

WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It was all fairies and fun at a local masquerade ball. The Wyoming Valley Chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) held their Third Annual Masquerade Ball Friday night at their church in Wyoming.

Partygoers were able to take part in a fairy-themed costume contest with multiple categories, including good and bad fairy, best fairy couple, and best spring fairy.

The event was complete with an aerial silk show, a fairy-themed costume contest, and raffles.

Special Easter Egg Hunt helps visually impared kids experience holiday fun

The magical night raised more than $2,000, which all goes toward this summer's Pagan Pride Festival happening August 9 in Wilkes-Barre's Kirby Park.

This is the Wyoming Valley CUUPS' biggest event yet.
