LOWER MAHANOY TWP., NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report two women were found dead after they went missing during an ATV ride.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, on Sunday, April 13, around 8:30 p.m., troopers were called to locate two people who went on an ATV ride and were not heard from for several hours.

After searching the area, police say the ATV was discovered to have crashed off Yeagers Hill Road and found 43-year-old Bobbie Conrad of Dalmatia and 28-year-old Maura Mengel of Mount Carmel, dead on the scene.
Through further investigation, troopers said the two women were riding on the ATV at a high rate of speed, and traveled off the road and down an embankment.
