DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been charged after police say he put a hidden camera in a bathroom to record women while using the shower.
According to the Dallas Borough Police Department, officers were called in November 2023 for a woman reporting that she had found a camera hidden inside a smoke detector in a bathroom.
The woman claimed that 63-year-old Albert Pritchard had put a hidden camera to secretly record her and two females, one of whom was under 18, police stated.
Officers searched the home, seized the hidden camera along with Pritchard's phone and computer.

As stated in the affidavit, videos from the camera showed Pritchard placing it in the smoke detector and then stepping in and out of the shower to verify that he was "getting a complete view of anyone entering and exiting the shower."
Also discovered in Pritchard's devices were videos and images of the women using the shower, and web searches for child pornography, according to court documents.
Pritchard is charged with photographing/filming, depicting a sex act on a computer, and possession of child pornography.
