PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A local Italian specialty shop is serving up another popular holiday meal, Easter pizza!
Sabatelle's Market in Pittston is known for its specialty meats and cheeses, but during lent, it's all about the Easter pizza.
It's made with lean imported ham, a secret selection of cheeses, and a peppercorn baked crust.
The shop was forced to close its doors for several months after a devastating fire next-door on December 23.
"We had so much, a banner year this year after the fire that we had a couple months back, but everybody's coming in like crazy the place is rockin' off the charts," expressed Jason Sabatelle, co-owner, Sabatelle's Market.
You can buy the Easter pizza the whole or by the slice.
Owners say it's best to call ahead to see what they have in stock.
