According to DNCR, no structures have been lost at this time.
They say smoke will likely settle into the valley during the evening.
The D & L Hiking Trail is temporarily closed from mile marker 102 to 107 while hazard tree felling work is being completed by firefighters.
Firefighters are assigned to operate day and night so that the fire is being watched until it is fully contained. They say the highest priority is protecting the homes in the Long Run Road area on the Eastern boundary of the fire.
