(WBRE/WYOU) — Approximately 180,000 car seats are being recalled by the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
According to a release, Safety 1st Grow and Go Sprint Car Seats are being recalled due to a potential choking hazard.
The model numbers of those affected by the recall are as follows:
CC321GYU, CC321GYUD, CC321GYY, CC321GYYD, CC321HAO, CC321HAR
The seats manufacturer, Dorel Juvenile Group, has received 13 reports of children that had foam pieces from the headrest in their mouths. No injuries have been reported at this time.
