'I'm going to end your miserable life': Student accused of assaulting school driver

PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A high school student was arrested after police say they attempted to strangle a school van driver.

According to police, on March 12, a Wallenpaupack High School student attempted to strangle a student van driver with a "string-like object", saying, "I'm going to end your miserable life".

Police say the student was arrested after the incident occurred.

Police investigate burned body found in Hazleton

The student has been charged with strangulation, aggravated assault, and other related charges.
