Closing of local bridge causing traffic disruption

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A heads-up for you now about a detour coming your way in North Scranton.

Parker Street between North Main Avenue and Boulevard Avenue will close beginning this coming Monday.

Homeless man accused of exposing himself at Weston Field

The closure will allow PennDOT crews to finish paving.

The work is part of the Parker Street Bridge reconstruction project.

The road will be closed for approximately two weeks forcing drivers to use a designate detour in this part of the Electric City.
