Hundreds turn out for Annual Mother's Day Tulip Festival

LEMON TOWNSHIP, WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Honoring mom with a variety of colorful flowers this Mother's Day weekend near Tunkhannock. Hundreds turned out on Sunday at Brown Hill Farms for the annual Mother's Day Tulip Festival.

Five acres were filled with a half-million beautiful tulips as far as the eye could see.

Moms and others who attended were able to pick their own tulips.

Some families helped make memories bloom by capturing the visit with the help of creative photo booths.

Borough officials to hold meeting on flood damage

28/22 News caught up with local moms who took in the spectacular view.

"My mom was very big on family and getting together and we're kind of keep the tradition alive," Carbondale resident Jennifer White said.

"Just being together, and seeing the smiles on everyone's faces," Ocean Hobbie from Towanda told 28/22 News.

Besides all of the beautiful flowers, the tulip festival also featured live entertainment, food vendors, and kiddie rides in Wyoming County.
