WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been charged after police say one person was shot and car windows were smashed with a baseball bat over a $5 marijuana debt.
Police say Isaac Blyther, 24, of Wilkes-Barre, has been charged after allegedly shooting a man who was breaking his car windows with a baseball bat over a marijuana debt around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to police, the man who was shot was breaking the window of Blyther's car to get his attention about a $5 marijuana debt owed to the victim's girlfriend.
According to the affidavit, when Blyther saw the person damaging his car, he went inside and returned with a knife and a gun in his waistband.
Police say the victim is captured on camera damaging the car, and then is approached by Bylther, then the victim raises the bat, and then what investigators believe to be a gunshot being fired is heard on the camera footage.
According to the affidavit, Blyther also slashed at the victim's girlfriend in the hand with a knife.
The victims then drove themselves to the hospital. Blyther has been charged with aggravated assault and other related charges.
