WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The traffic around Wilkes-Barre's Public Square will change for the 2025 Fine Arts Fiesta.
Starting on the Morning of Wednesday, May 14, at 9:00 a.m., the traffic pattern around Public Square will change and end on Monday, May 19.
The following traffic pattern changes will be made:
West Market Street will be closed off at South Franklin Street.
Public Square, West Market Street to South Main Street, will be closed to traffic.
From South Main Street, traffic onto Public Square will exit from the Square onto either East Market Street or North Main Street.
From East Market Street, traffic onto Public Square will exit from the Square onto North Main Street.
From North Main Street, there will be no access around Public Square.
All traffic will be directed across Butler Lane (alley by the former Martz terminal) to South Washington Street.
