Electric City rockin' as son of a famous rockstar performs

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Electric City was rockin' on Tuesday night with a special performance from the musician and son of a legendary rockstar!

Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the late guitar icon Eddie Van Halen, played for about 100 fans at Sergei's club inside Aterra 519 restaurant in downtown Scranton.

Summer tribute concerts coming to Mount Airy Casino Resort

Val Halen and his band, "Mammoth," performed four songs, including their hit single, "The End."

The event was hosted by local rock radio station 97.9 X.

Wolfgang and Mammoth return to the Electric City in July for a show at Montage Mountain.
