The event began this morning at 11:00 a.m. and has seen a steady crowd all day.
Many of the artists come back every year to display their works of art.
"I do demonstrations for the four days of the art art festival, and I'm going to have silk painting because I do silks in the background there, you can see I've had business for years selling my silks," explained Catherine Laskaris, artist in residence.
"We pretty much come here every year, and we're expecting the rain every year too. Unfortunately, this is a nice day, though, little bit of mist, little bit of rain, but it's passed for now. So we're just having a good time," added Bill Drozda, Edwardsville.
The festival runs from 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
