WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Clouds try to break for some sunshine Thursday, but don't expect wall-to-wall sunshine! There will be a few showers around, with perhaps a thunderstorm possible.
Highs will be in the mid-70s and slightly humid. While an isolated shower is possible overnight, most of the night is quiet with a partly cloudy sky. Lows around 60.A warm front will push through the region Friday with showers and thunderstorms likely for the morning. The afternoon looks a bit drier with a mostly cloudy sky. If we get any breaks of sunshine it will be during the afternoon, then a few additional showers or storms will be possible. Highs will be around 80.

A cold front will then be moving in on Saturday with additional showers and thunderstorms. Highs on Saturday will be near 80.
While Sunday gives us improving weather, a stray shower is still possible. Clouds will break up for some sun with highs around 70.
Monday and Tuesday dry out with a mix of clouds and sunshine as high pressure settles in. Highs on Monday in the mid-60s, with upper 60s on Tuesday.
Wednesday will bring us our next chance for showers.
