OLD FORGE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A home in Lackawanna County is damaged after a fire Friday afternoon.
Crews were called this afternoon to a home on Oak Street in Old Forge just before 1:00 p.m.
Sayre man sentenced for threatening to burn house down
The fire chief tells us the person who lived in the home was not there at the time, but believe a cat may not have escaped the flames.
Fire officials believe the cause is electrical, but it remains under investigation.
