WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Police say a 21-year-old man from Philadelphia is dead after a Sunday morning crash along Hazle Street in Wilkes-Barre.
The man died at the scene of a one-car crash Sunday morning.
The Luzerne County Coroner states that their office was called near the intersection of Hazle Street and Hill Street for a one-car crash into a tree just before 6:00 a.m.
Man facing charges after allegedly striking woman with car
Wilkes-Barre Police Department had a crash reconstruction team on the scene, and are investigating the cause of the crash.
The man's name was not released pending notification of the family.
