WEST HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man was shot three times in the abdomen outside the VFW in West Hazleton.
According to police, they responded to a call on Winters Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning for a man with a gunshot wound.

Police say there was a multi-person fight happening inside the VFW bar that spilled into the street that ended in a man being shot three times.
According to police, they do not have anyone in custody.
Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not already spoken to officers, is asked to contact West Hazleton Police at 570-455-3733.
