(WBRE/WYOU)— May 28th, 1990 Rich Charneski walked through the WBRE doors for the first time, and nearly 35 years later, Rich leaves a lasting legacy on his final day at the station.
The end of an era in our sports department where Rich was the face behind the camera.
His talent, dedication, and passion for the teams and the athletes all over the area can not be matched.
Rich has established thousands of connections and anytime I'm out at games, somebody always asks about Rich, how he's doing, what game he's at.
I'm speaking for everyone who's helped out on Friday nights for football, spent long car rides with him to cover games, and just interacted with Rich.
A big thank you for all you've done and we wish you and your family nothing but the best in the future.
