Residents 'relish' Picklefest in Luzerne County drive-in

HUNLOCK TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Folks at another outdoor event decided even if it rained, they would just "dill" with it. Break out the pickle puns for Picklefest at the Garden Drive-In in Hunlock Township.

Roughly four dozen vendors showcased a variety of pickle-related products you could relish, including items to eat, to wear, or to display.

Overnight lane restrictions announced for Interstate 81

It did not cost anything to attend or to park there, so that's a pretty good "Dill" even if the weather put vendors in a bit of a pickle.

"Last year, we sold out in two and a half hours. The rain, despite the rain this week, I'm pretty sure we'll do okay," Nim's Pickles owner Brian Niemkiewicz said.

This marked the second year for Picklefest at the Garden Drive-In in Luzerne County.
