MONTOURSVILLE, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The search has ended for a missing kayaker on Loyalsock Creek.
The Montoursville Fire Department announced Monday evening crews returned to Mill Street to continue their recovery efforts for the missing kayaker.

Authorities say they recovered the missing man and send their sympathies to the family and friends of the man.
Rescue crews spent the weekend looking for a man in his mid-20s who disappeared Saturday morning. His kayak overturned after hitting downed trees near Mill Street.
Authorities have identified him but have not yet released his name.
