(WBRE/WYOU) — An isolated severe threat of thunderstorms is possible Thursday afternoon and early evening.
High pressure has been keeping the weather pattern quiet for the middle part of the week. Thursday morning has started off dry, but with an approaching front, this may spark a shower or thunderstorm.
Any thunderstorm that develops may become on the stronger side. Main threats include damaging wind gusts and small hail. A brief downpour is not out of the question.

It should be noted that today's storm threat is more isolated than widespread, as some locations may remain completely dry.
More showers and storms will be expected over the next several days.
