WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— The "Friends of the Osterhout Free Library" book sale is here.
Friday was a preview of the sale which features over 60 categories and 30,000 books.
This event is a big fundraiser for the library.
At one point, there was a line to get into the big tent on South Franklin Street in downtown Wilkes-Barre and there were plenty of great books for the young and young at heart.
"I think it's really important that they do this just for the fundraising aspect, it's always important to keep our library's funded especially in a time like this, but more importantly it's just a great community event," voiced Victoria Rendina from Larksville.
This is the 48th year for the book sale and it will continue through next Saturday.
