HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— In a release, Hazleton City Police Department states that they have made several arrests in connection with a shooting that happened on Tuesday.
Officials say that the people detained and accused of being involved in Tuesday's shooting and vehicle pursuit have been determined to be juveniles.
Hazleton City Police Public Information Officer Jessica Surkin states that the names of the suspects cannot be released due to their ages.

Authorities say that the investigation is still active, and more information will be released when it does not jeopardize the investigation.
Pennsylvania State Police and Butler Township Police assisted in the shooting and chase.
The suspects were allegedly involved in a shooting and police pursuit Tuesday afternoon before abandoning the vehicle, leaving it to roll into a box truck in the area of North Street and West Locust Street.
