GIBSON TOWNSHIP, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Two people were transported to a local hospital after a crash Thursday night.
According to Chief Mario Savino of the Clifford Township Volunteer Fire Company, crews were called to the intersection of PA-92 and State Route 2065 just after 8:00 p.m. for a report of an RV crashing into a creek.
When crews arrived on-scene, they found a woman sitting on the creek bank and a man still entrapped in the RV.

Savino states that the RV suffered a mechanical failure while going down a steep dirt road, went over the guardrail before going to 25-30 feet into the creek.
Both the man and the woman were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries and a dog was also pulled, unharmed from the RV.
Justus Dive team was also called to assist crews on-scene with getting the man out.
