NASCAR fans descend upon the Tricky Triangle

With the Craftsman Trucks Series set to start at 5:00 p.m., fans are starting to file into their seats.

28/22 Sports caught up with a racer most of you may known as Malcom, and he is hoping to not finish the middle Friday night.

Frankie Muniz is racing in his second Craftsman Trucks Series.

Muniz talked about his transition from Hollywood, to becoming a NASCAR driver, his love for the sport, and having a good time at Pocono.

"Feeling good you know we've had an up and down year but last week in Michigan was a good one for us so we're hoping to take that momentum that we got there and bring it here to Pocono," expressed Muniz.

"This track is intense the longest straight away that we see all year we'll be going super fast and then three very unique corners are unlike away where else you go so hope it will be good," added Muniz.

He stated that he is coming off one of his best races ever, finishing 14 in Michigan.

28/22 Sports also caught up with Corey Heim, the Truck Series points leader, who won last year and finished second two years ago.

The Xfinity Race takes place Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on the CW Network, then the one everyone has been waiting for, The Great American Getaway on Sunday 2:30 p.m.
