PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Parents are facing charges after police say they found a home "unfit for human habitation" after a child was left alone, walking around naked.
According to the Plymouth Borough Police Department, on Saturday, June 21, officers were called to the area of Barnes Street Park for a naked child walking around all alone.
Police say they arrived at the scene where the child was found naked and covered in dried human feces. Officers said the child led them to his home in the 200 block of Orchard Street.
Officers contacted the child's father, identified as Ryan Vincent, and when he opened the front door, officers stated they were "hit with a strong odor of extreme filth and a swarm of flies, flying out of the front door."

Police claimed the residence was covered in dried human feces, including the walls, with dirty clothes, half-eaten food, trash, and clutter all over the home.
"The residence was extremely filthy and in deplorable living conditions, deeming the residence unfit for human habitation. The residence was beyond unsanitary that it made a 'pig pen' seem cleaner," explained investigators with the Plymouth Borough Police Department.
Two children were found to be living in the house, and Children and Youth Services conducted an investigation, which revealed a refrigerator containing moldy food and more filth, police added.
Both parents, Ryan Vincent and Isabel Vincent, were arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children, and bail was set at $50,000 each. The residence was condemned for being unfit for human habitation.
