CLARKS SUMMIT, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Putting our area's children first, that's the goal of our annual Hunger Free Summer Campaign!
This year's event kicked off at Gerrity's in Clarks Summit.
And that's where 28/22 News evening anchor Nick Toma has been collecting donations for most of the day.
Nonprofit groups like United Neighborhood Centers benefit from these donations by being able to feed under privileged kids, according to Sumida Samad.
