Threat of thunderstorms possible for Saturday afternoon

(WBRE/WYOU)— The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for most of our area until 8:00 p.m.

A cold front will bring us a chance of showers and thunderstorms for later Saturday.

We clear out nicely for Sunday before unsettled weather moves back in on Monday.

High temperatures will be a little above average for the upcoming week, along with higher humidity levels.

For Saturday, you can expect partly sunny skies. It'll be warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon and highs in the mid 80's.

The night will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers or storm early and lows in the low 60's. Sunday will be a beautiful day as we'll see sunny skies and highs in the mid 80's.
