PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — If you are fed up with mosquitoes, and who isn't, some relief is on the way for several local communities. A truck-mounted spraying operation is planned in Luzerne County.
The Luzerne Conservation District uses a spray designed to provide quick knockdown and effective control of adult mosquitoes.
Authorities spotted investigating in Columbia County
The spraying operation will target nearly a dozen Luzerne County communities listed below:
Plains Township
Plymouth Township
Plymouth
Swoyersville
Larksville
Edwardsville
Kingston
Forty Fort
West Wyoming
Wyoming
Exeter
The mosquito spraying in the Wyoming Valley will happen Monday and Tuesday evenings, starting both nights at 8:30 p.m.
