SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The search is on for a man police say is wanted for attempted homicide after he shot a man in his car outside of a bank.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Timothy Rogers of New Milford. The Susquehanna County Sheriff's Office states Rogers is wanted on the following charges:
Criminal attempted homicide
Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
The charges stem from an incident that occurred around 3:30 a.m. June 20, near the People’s Security Bank and Trust on Main Street in Hallstead.
Surveillance video shows a white van pull up to a car parked at the bank. Rogers then approaches the victim at the driver's side window, yelling "you know what you did, you know what you did, and shot at him, as stated in the affidavit.

The victim informed police that Rogers immediately said he was sorry and later texted the victim apologizing further and offering to pay for his vehicle to be fixed.
According to court documents, the victim believes Rogers was "attempting to shoot someone else and he was not the target."
Investigators warn that Rogers should be considered armed and dangerous.
