A cold front will arrive in the region during the afternoon and evening with showers and thunderstorms.
Some storms may become strong to severe.

With ample moisture and high dew points, any shower or storm may produce heavy rain or downpours. Storms may also be capable of producing damaging wind gusts.
The front will move from west to east, with any lingering shower or storm tapering off overnight.
