NANTICOKE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News is learning details about a police raid at an apartment complex in Nanticoke. Officers say it's connected to an ongoing drug investigation.
Police say the raid happened on the corner of Hanover and Noble Streets at around 1:30 p.m.
Customers, businesses feeling impact of mall outage
Nanticoke City Police say they were executing a search warrant related to a drug case.
Luzerne County's Drug Task Force and Newport Township police also assisted.
Police say there is no danger to the public, but would not comment further on the investigation.
