Two dead, shooting investigation underway
As stated in the affidavit, Maradiage-Orellana dug a hole in the backyard after the infant's body began to "smell and become bloated." Maradiage-Orellana later admitted to police that he unplugged the rear camera that was on the property while he buried the body so that it would not record him, court documents report.
Detevies stated that the 14-year-old girl hid her pregnancy, and the infant died shortly after birth.
Maradiage-Orellana has been charged with concealing the death of a child, abuse of corpse, and other related offenses.
