NOYES TWP., CLINTON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report a man died in the Susquehanna River when he was attempting to cross it.
According to PSP, on July 2, around 3:30 p.m., troopers responded to search for a man in the Susquehanna River.

One injured in Schuylkill County tractor-trailer crash
Police say on the scene, they saw a tractor in the middle of the Susquehanna River with no one inside.
Troopers later learned that an 81-year-old man from Westport was trying to cross the river to access farm ground on the opposite side.
State police said the victim's body was recovered about 2.5 miles downriver.
