Troopers say they received a call from a woman letting them know people were dead inside.

"I can't believe this, I'm in shock," voiced Annie Morrisey, next-door neighbor.

Annie Morrisey of Shenandoah was left shaken over her next door neighbors who were shot and killed early Thursday morning.

State police say they received a call around 1:00 a.m. from a woman who said she received a text message that everyone was dead inside the home located at 307 West Centre Street.

"This throws me for a loop because they are the most nicest people," expressed Morrisey.

When police arrived at the home, Trooper Brownback says they forced their way inside.

He says a young boy was standing there when they entered.

"[The child] stated to them I need help. Daddy just shot mom and grandad," explained Trooper Brownback.

Officers then discovered an older man dead on the couch.

Moments later, while inside the home, police heard another gunshot from the second floor.

Police then discovered a second man was dead and a woman was in critical condition.

"It makes me sick. I could vomit," voiced Morrisey.

Morrisey tells me she was close with the people inside the home and spent hours with them Thursday before the violence broke out.

"I was hanging with them all day yesterday. I was over there watching the baseball game with them. They are my best neighbors." said Morrisey.

State police say names are not being released until family members are notified.

The boy who was also inside is said to be okay.

"My heart goes out to that juvenile, so sad to have to experience something like this," expressed Trooper Brownback.

The woman in critical condition is at the ICU at Geisinger Medical.

Trooper Brownback added there's no danger to the public, this is an isolated incident.
