HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Eight people were sent to the hospital, including two pedestrians, who were hit after a multi-vehicle crash.
According to the Hazleton City Police Department, on July 6, around 10:00 p.m., a crash occurred at the intersection of South Poplar Street and Arthur Gardner Highway.
Officers said they witnessed a Honda driven by a 76-year-old man collide with a Jeep. The Honda then continued to move and hit two pedestrians, followed by colliding with two more vehicles.

First aid was given at the scene, and a total of eight people were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Hazleton.
All injuries were reported as minor, except for one, who sustained moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
