How to report potholes in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown sent out a reminder Tuesday about how to report potholes within the city.

Brown says it's a convenient way for residents and visitors to alert the administration about the road conditions they are seeing.

Callers can speak with a representative from the mayor's office or leave a voicemail to report the location of the pothole.

Residents are asked to provide as much detail on the location of the pothole as possible. It can be an exact address or the nearest intersection.

"In years past, the pothole reporting line has been instrumental in organizing and expediting pothole repairs and alleviating redundancy of pothole reports made to different city departments," Brown relayed in a media release.

The Pothole Reporting Line phone number is 570-208-4237.
