SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A fun way to cool off for kids is back open at McDade Park.
The McDade splashpad has been reopened after being closed for almost a week due to a water pump issue.

The McDade pool is still closed due to multiple leaks.
Authorities say parts of the tiles have chips and cracks, causing leaks, and they want to make repairs all at once instead of piece by piece.
They hope to have it reopened by the end of the 2025 swim season
The splashpad will be open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
