Protestors and supporters show up for VP Vance’s visit

Vance says The Big Beautiful Bill puts workers first.

"Well now thanks to President Trump's leadership, if you work over time the federal government is not gonna take a dime of that overtime you earn. That money, keep it in your pocket," said Vice President Vance.

Vance did not talk about concerns about Medicaid cuts that are part of the "Big Beautiful Bill."

Democrats say it cuts Medicaid benefits from millions of Americans.

Republican leaders say the legislation benefits the average family by cutting waste, fraud and abuse, and that people who are qualified will not see their benefits cut.
