Six men accused of assaulting two teens at restaurant

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for six men who allegedly wore masks and assaulted two teens inside a business. On July 16, around 9:00 p.m., officers were called to a restaurant located on Barney Street in Wilkes-Barre for a report of an assault.

Once on the scene, police said the manager of the restaurant claimed six men dressed in black and wearing face masks entered the business and went behind the counter.

Construction worker allegedly assaulted by three men

The suspects then went after two 16-year-old employees and physically assaulted them, investigators stated.

Several customers tried to stop the assault, but the groups fled the scene. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
