WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are investigating an incident where a high beam argument between two people led to gunshots in Wilkes-Barre Friday night.
On July 18, around 11:42 p.m., officers were called to a residence on West River Street for a report of gunshots being fired.

Once on the scene, the victim, a 46-year-old woman from Wilkes-Barre, told police that she argued with a man regarding his vehicle having its high beams on.
Police stated that during the argument, the suspect got a gun and fired a gunshot towards the victim, hitting an apartment building. The suspect fled the scene in a silver SUV. The investigation is ongoing.
