Hundreds of kids ages three through sixth grade are taking part, learning scripture and building friendships that last beyond this week.
"It's all about pointing to what is north and the true north that we talk about is god having god in our lives so just exciting it's exciting environment to be able to create for kids and just to be able to show them that the hope is found in Jesus," Cross Creek Community Church Pastor Josh Coldren stated.
"I think our church does an awesome job of getting the kids excited for Sunday, but then also for VBS, and my kids are talking about this every single night of the week. You know, as we're on our way here, they're talking about it. They're just so excited to be here to be part of it," Parent Matt Josefowicz said.
The program runs through the end of the week at Cross Creek Community Church.
Organizers say they're already planning for an even bigger event next year.
