MAYFIELD BOROUGH, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The coroner has released information after a fatal motorcycle crash overnight in Lackawanna County.
According to the Lackawanna County Coroner, 21-year-old Andrew Heid of Peckville was fatally injured just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning in Mayfield Borough on Route 107 when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The coroner explained that Heid sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Lackawanna County Chief Deputy Coroner Jesse VanDeusen
Officials say the Mayfield Borough Police Department is investigating the fatal crash.
