SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities say police responded to a Scranton neighborhood after a reported stabbing. 28/22 News found police activity on Sunday night on the city's south side.
Officials were dispatched around 7:30 to a home on the 800 block of East Locust Street near South Irving Avenue.
Detours to begin on Route 11 in Lackawanna County
28/22 News was on scene as a woman was seen wearing a police badge photographing the scene surrounded by police tape.
Lackawanna County 911 says a person was taken to the hospital following the attack.
Scranton police will only say that it's an active police investigation.
