BRIAR CREEK BOROUGH, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police have charged a man with attempted homicide after he allegedly ignited a home with the owner inside.
On Sunday, August 3, around 4:45 a.m., troopers were called to Park Road in Brair Creek for a reported arson.
Police investigating after man was shot twice
State police say the suspect, Joseph McBrantley, 42, intentionally ignited the house on fire at four different locations while the owner was inside.
McBrantley was arrested and charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, arson, and other related offenses.
